“There were days I would go to Whole Foods just to find someone to talk to,” says Lolo Sidhu. She was a stay-at-home mom with a young child and found herself shutoff from the outside world. “I needed to get out and find other moms with the same experience as me.”
The classes meet three times a week, outdoors at Fairview on Friday when the weather works, indoors or outdoors at Old Settlers Center in McKinney on Monday and Wednesday.
The group consists of 7-8 moms, and membership is growing, with their youngsters in strollers. They work out for an hour, running and power walking with the strollers, stopping at different “stations” for stretching and cardio workouts. Lolo says moms get a full body workout every class...more
